The McCaffery family purchased Walton’s in 1959 and with the help of the Dermody family, grew it into one of the largest family-owned funeral home businesses in the nation.
In 2019, a new chapter of Walton’s began with long time employees Rick Noel and Kim Kandaras purchasing the company.

Walton’s has five locations in the Reno-Tahoe area.
