This year’s Senior Celebration takes place from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Thursday, May 8, at Casino Fandango in Carson City. The free event is not only an excellent resource for information about products and services geared toward seniors, but it also serves an important cause: raising funds to provide one-time emergency assistance to local seniors in need.

Senior Celebration brings together a variety of organizations and experts who are passionate about enriching the lives of older adults. Attendees will find valuable resources on wellness, financial planning, home care, mobility aids, and much more — all designed to help seniors live independently, safely, and happily.

Located here in northern Nevada, Circle of Life Hospice offers medical, emotional, and spiritual support to patients and their families—ensuring that no one faces life’s final chapter alone. The Hospice House plays a critical role in the community, welcoming those who may not have a home, caregiver, or financial means to receive hospice care elsewhere.

We were moved by the stories shared at the event—stories of hope, resilience, and grace in the face of life’s most difficult moments.
