Respecting your family’s traditions
At Walton’s, we are sensitive to your needs and your time honored family traditions. Whether your cultural customs, religious beliefs or just personal preferences, no request is too big or small. These services typically include a time for the deceased’s family to gather for a visitation and viewing period at the funeral home, many times receiving friends during this time. These services generally include a funeral at a church or our chapel with the loved-one present in a casket. A procession to a cemetery for burial or entombment follows the funeral ceremony. Traditional services, while usually public, can be made private at the family’s request.
A service all your own
Our duty here at Walton’s is to create a meaningful service that will properly commemorate the life of your loved one. There are infinite possibilities when it comes to personalizing a funeral service, and our caring and concerned staff will be with you through every step of the planning process.
Our facilities are fully equipped so family and friends can share testimonials and stories, as well as photographs can be displayed or broadcast in a slide show. Our state-of-the-art music system allows for you to bring in your own music, in any of a wide array of formats to play during the ceremony. We can customize the service to highlight your loved-one’s vocation or hobbies, such as hunting, fishing, golfing, gardening, etc. Items and mementos can be brought to the church or our chapel and displayed during the visitation and service to commemorate your loved one’s life. We have the capability to hold your event in a variety of non-traditional settings, such as backyards, parks, golf courses, lakes, bars or wherever you would like.
